Serving Traditional Maine Lobster Rolls

When salt-of-the-Earth Mainer’s Bill & Monica Irwin moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, they were constantly met with the same response when asked where they were from: “Ohhhh, Lobster Rolls!”

Eventually, this sparked an idea in the couple, who have always shared an entrepreneurial spirit. Together they opened the Maine Lobster Roll Company in the fall of 2019.

The Maine Lobster Roll Company serves our delicious lobster rolls on toasted New England style hot dog buns - the traditional Maine way. We aim for the “simple roadside lobster shack” style of roll. You can even enjoy an ice cold bottle of Moxie soda to wash it all down, just like a real Mainer would.

We invite you to come in for a visit. We will be serving up delicious Maine classics with a side of salty Maine humor, year round in Wilmington, North Carolina.
